Most people don\u2019t realise how toxic the global textile system is. Conventional cotton is one of the most chemically\u2011intensive crops on the planet; pesticides, fertilisers, defoliants, and residues that stay in the soil, the water, and the fibres themselves.

No mixed fibres. No toxins baked into the material. It can be remilled into new fabric without dragging the chemical load of conventional cotton along with it.<\/p> Conventional cotton can technically be recycled too, but the fibres often carry pesticide traces, dye residues, and chemical treatments that complicate the process and reduce quality.
